On August 20, 2004 two Philadelphia Firefighters were trapped and killed in basement of a residential building. The basement was allegedly being used illegally to grow marijuana plants using high temperature lamps, and possibly hydroponics. Hydroponics can be used to grow plants without the need for dirt. These techniques can use confined spaces which may be hard to find in residential buildings.

All Firefighters should not forget that any situation can turn deadly and that the contents of a building, may not be what they expect.
