The NJ State FMBA is proud to endorsed and supported candidate Rich Mikutsky
(firefighter from Morristown Local #43). Rich has served many years on
the Pension Board and has won another term.
Rich
Mikutsky has been a firefighter since 1985. Currently he is serving his
second four year term as a Trustee on the Police & Firemen's Pension Board
where he holds the position of 1st Vice Chairman of the Board.
He has
represented Morristown FMBA #43 as Local President, State Delegate and
Contract Chairman over the past 22 years. He also served the NJ State FMBA as
State Recording Secretary from 1989 - 2001 and as FMBA Legislative
Chairman from 1996 - 2007. In the latter position he represented the
concerns of every career firefighter in the State and was involved in
securing legislation that protected the health, safety and pension of
every firefighter.
Over
the years, Rich has served on various other committees within the State
FMBA. These include the FMBA Resolutions, Valor and Critical Incident
Stress committees. In 2001, Rich was awarded the Scott V. Garber Service
Award for his service and dedication to the State FMBA and its members.
