The
Annual Valor Awards Banquet was held on April 26, 2008.
We once again had an attendance of over 1000 people
making it a sold out event and making the
NJFMBA Valor Awards Banquet the largest awards
program in the entire state.
"Big Joe" Henry from 101.5 Radio was back as Master of
Ceremonies for the event which also was attended by
numerous legislators from around the state.
The event began at 6 PM with a cocktail hour which was
followed by the program.
The United States Marine Corps Color Guard presented the
colors followed by the singing of the National Anthem
and God Bless America.
The event went until midnight as award winners, along
with their families and friends as well as brother and
sister firefighters from around the state celebrated and
recognized the brotherhood and sisterhood of our
association.
