NJ Politics plays an important role in every aspect of our careers as first responders. The NJ FMBA fights every day for the rights and safety of our members and the safety of the citizens we serve. The relationships that we forge with the state legislators are imperative towards our efforts and having open lines of communication with the State policymakers. The Funeral Mass will take place Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 10am at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart, 89 Ridge Street (off Clifton Avenue), Newark, NJ 07104.

Firefighter Wayne Brooks, Jr's viewing will take place Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 4pm-8pm at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart, 89 Ridge Street (off Clifton Avenue), Newark, NJ 07104. The Funeral Mass will take place Friday, July 14, 2023 at 10am at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart, 89 Ridge Street (off Clifton Avenue), Newark, NJ 07104.

Elizabeth Local 9 member Warren White was released from the Burn Center today, July 7, at 2 pm and is home, on the road to recovery. 

Thank you to West Orange Locals 28 and 228 and the West Orange Fire Department for sending apparatus and to all the members from across the State who were there for Firefighter White's discharge. 

**NJ FMBA Day at Tice's Shoal scheduled for Wednesday, July 12, 2023 has been cancelled so our members can attend the services**

The 2023 NJ FMBA Mario Rossi Memorial Picnic will be held on Wednesday June 14th, 2023 at the Forest Lodge in Warren, NJ. Tickets are $75.00 per person and are available by visiting www.njfmba.org/picnic
