The NJ Fire Museum in collaboration with the NJ Division of Parks and Forestry are hosting an Open House this Sunday, September 27th, at 10AM. There will be a Fallen Firefighter Memorial Service being held at the NJ Fallen Firefighters Memorial at 1PM. The NJ Fire Museum is located at 4 Polhemustown Road, Allentown, NJ. This is a great family day and there will be activities for kids in addition to the attractions at the museum. 

The 124th Annual NJ FMBA Convention ended this week and although it was a convention unlike any other for many obvious reasons, the NJ FMBA gave a final farewell to one of its fallen firefighters. Members of the NJ FMBA and family members and friends gathered under a tent in a socially distanced environment at Harrah's Resort on Tuesday evening to pay tribute to Passaic FF Israel Tolentino, who was lost in the line of duty earlier this year to COVID-19. 

The NJ FMBA Annual September Convention is approaching fast and we wanted to remind everyone to send in their Memorial Service Form in as soon as possible for the Memorial Ceremony which will be taking place on Tuesday, September 15th. 

In addition to members of your local who have passed (LINE OF DUTY, ACTIVE OR RETIRED) away between September 2019 and September 2020, we will also be remembering NJ FMBA family members who have passed away due to COVID-19 related complications. 

Our September Convention is right around the corner and we are looking forward to seeing you there!
